This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a detailed embossed biplane in the center, and the words "Shimoshizu Flying Academy Commemoration" and the soldier's name Saito on the back. Shimoshizu is still abase for the JGSDF, now an anti-air training facility.
