This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a helmet, a pair of flags, one of which is the flag of Manchukuo, and a railroad unit insignia. The words are "Victorious Return Commemoration" "Independent Defense Unit". 

Condition: Excellent - some fading of the gold
