This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pith helmet, a flag, and the words "Shanghai Victorious Return Commemoration" and the bigger characters "Loyalty and Bravery". The exterior of the cup is decorated with a landscape and the name of the kiln Kutani in the base.
