This is an antique pair of lacquer sake cups, decorated each with an anchor and a star insignia. The words on the right cup are "Celebration for Wishing the Long Martial Career of the Imperial Forces" "Incident Dispatch Commemoration" and on the left cup "Return Thanksgiving Celebration" and "Incident Dispatch Commemoration". The words on the back of both are "Nishiki Village". The cups are probably given to the military personnel of this village going away and then coming back from the war.
