This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an anchor, a pick, and a spade. The words are "Shandong mobilization commemoration" "3rd Engineer". The soldier's name Kenta is on the back. This would've been referring to Japan's invasion of German holdings in Shandong province in WW1.
