This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a flag, a fan with the words "Loyalty and bravery" on it, and some cherry blossoms. The smaller words are "Discharge Commemoration" "30th Infantry" and the soldier's name Yamaguchi. The exterior of the cup is in the shape of a helmet with a plane as the base.
