This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pair of flags, a star, and the words "Congratulations to Captain Ishibashi on Victorious Return" and the name of the gifter under the flags, Murakami Fusakichi. It's rare to have a cup for a named captain.

Condition: Excellent - some fading of the gold around the rim
