This is a set of antique Japanese military sake cups made in the style of Russian Matryoshka dolls - cups inserted into one another. The exterior of the cups has a pair of flags and the words "Victorious Return Commemoration" on the lid. The inside cups all have cherry blossoms as decoration. The lid, when flipped over, also has cherry blossoms on the inside. Cups like this are usually from the Russo Japanese war period - especially since this is commemorating a victory in a war.

Condition: There are a couple small spots of damage on the lacquer paint - one on the lid and one on the rim of one of the cups. There's also some scratches from use on the bottom
