This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a cherry blossom and a star, and the words "Karafuto Victorious Return" "18th Infantry" and the soldier's name Ono on the back. Karafuto is the Japanese name for Sakhalin island, which was taken during the Russo Japanese war.
