This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a kendo helmet, backed with two crossed rifled-shaped practice bayonets. The words are "Excellence Award" "2nd Battalion Chief" and on the back a certain "Captain Kuninaka". 

Condition: Excellent - light discoloration of the gold
