This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a chrysanthemum, a kiri, and a family insignia in the center. The family insignia is the family crest of the Kujo clan - from which the bride hailed. The words on the back are "HIH The Crown Prince Marriage Commemoration" and "Meiji 33rd Year" (1900). 

Condition: Excellent - some blemishes on the surface
