This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an anchor, two flags, and a cherry blossom. The words on top are "Trust" and "Politeness". The words on the back are "All Members of Iwate Same Year Sailors". Iwate was the Japanese cruiser Iwate, and this would refer to sailors who were drafted onto the ship in the same year - probably a parting gift for some officer on the ship from these sailors.

Condition: Excellent - one small chip of paint at 8 o'clock
