This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a star and the words "Commemoration" "1st Class Head Nurse" and the name Kawakami. The rank of 1st class head nurse is equivalent to a warrant officer. 

Condition: Excellent - light fading of te gold in the middle
