This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a star and a cherry blossom. The words on the left are "Army Sewing Worker Term Fulfillment Commemoration" and the name Kagawa in red. This is quite interesting - never seen a cup for an explicit "sewing worker" before, presumably someone whose job was to make clothes for the army, or perhaps drafted in to do such a thing as there's a term fulfillment reference.
