Russo Japanese War Poem Blossoms Home Front Support Lacquer Army Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a poem, some cherry blossoms, and all done on lacquered wood. The words on the rim on the back are "Meiji 37/38th Years War Home Front Support" and the name of the town Imabari.
Condition: Excellent - there are a few darker spots on the lacquer
