This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an anchor, a flag, and the words "Navy Term Fulfillment Commemoration". The sailor's name Noguchi is on the back. The cup is made of carved but unlacquered wood - usually carving the wood is the first step, then they lacquer it. It's very unusual for raw wood to be made into a cup directly.

Condition: Excellent - the red is a bit faded
