This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with the words "15th Flying Intelligence Squadron" "5th Flying Scouting Squadron". This is a unit that is part of the 3rd Flying Division and was set up in 1939. It fought mostly in China until 1942, when it got transferred to fighting in SE Asia.

I have 3 of these cups - each are a bit different (the one picture has the most blurry text). Please message me if you're interested. The words seem to be stamped and the cups are simply made ceramics - quite common during the war when materials were less common and these items became lower in quality.
