This is a very rare antique Japanese navy sake bottle, decorated with an airplane on the front with a green glaze. The words on the bottom of the bottle are "Toyama Prefecture Jika-tabi-go (literally naming the plane "outdoor sock") Military Airplane Contribution Commemoration" and the maker's mark on the other side. These planes were called "Hokoku-go" or "Repaying your country" planes - paid for through public contributions by the public. This was the number 648 of these Hokoku-gos. According to this site which tracks these planes, this plane was given by the Toyama outdoor sock industry in Showa 17th Year (1942) and the frame was a Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter.
