This is an antique Japanese lacquer sake cup, decorated with a kiri in the center. The words on the back are "2600th Year Celebration Ishikawa Prefecture Area General Committee Award". This would be for someone who helped organize the celebrations for the parties surrounding the year 2600 (1940) of the Imperial Calendar. This was sort of the apex of the Japanese empire. The words in the center are "Ishikawa Governor".

Condition: Excellent - the words are a bit faded
