Antique Japanese 3rd Class Sacred Treasure Award Silver Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese silver sake cup. The words on the back of the cup are "3rd Class Sacred Treasure Award Commemoration" and on the other side of the cup the name Kanei Keiji. This Kanei Keiji person was a business owner who lived from 1893 to 1984. His family owned some light metalwork factory that made textile tools. During WW2 they opened a factory in 1943 making aircraft parts, and after the war they specialized in bicycle tires. It's not clear when he was given this award of the 3rd Class Sacred Treasure but judging by the style of the cup (and his age) it's probably post-war. There's no other decoration on the cup.
