Antique Japanese Army 1922 Siberia Dispatch Imperial Guard Silver Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese pure silver sake cup, decorated with an insignia of the Imperial Guards on the front, and on the back are the words "Siberia Expedition Army Commemoration". In the base of the cup are the words "Taisho 11th Year (1922)" and the name of a village "Senjo Village". This is probably a cup made by the village for a soldier from there who returned from Siberia. There's a maker's mark on the side and the mark for "pure silver". It weighs about 22g.
Size: 2" across
Condition: Excellent - because the metal is soft the cup isn't quite perfectly round.
