Antique Japanese Lacquer Imperial Bestowed Meal Manchuria Incident Army Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese lacquered sake cup, decorated with a kiri with 5,7, and 5 leaves. The words are "Imperially Bestowed Sake and Food Commemoration" and under the kiri "Manchuria Incident", which refers to Japan's initial invasion of Manchuria in the early 1930s which eventually established the Manchukuo state.
