This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a big badge of the Order of Golden Kite. The words are "Victorious Return Imperial Guards Division". The words on the back are "Meiji 28th Year (1896) Qing Conquest Victory Commemoration Cup". The cup is made of copper and gilted with gold.
