This is an antique Japanese military army dish, decorated with a scene of a Japanese officer in front of a Chinese city, besieging it with troops assaulting the front gate. The words are "Taking a city" - I think this is Yingkou, although I'm not 100% certain.

Condition: Excellent - light fading of the colors
