This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pair of flags with a pole in the center topped by a Golden Kite. The words are "Qing Conquest Commemoration". The words on the back are "Infantry 10th Regiment" and in the middle, the date Meiji 28th Year November. This is 1895 November, right after Japan's victory over China and taking over control of the Korean Peninsula.
