This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a cherry blossom and the words "Righteousness and Bravery". The words on the exterior are "Meiji 27/28th Years War Victorious Return Commemoration 4th Infantry Regiment 6th Company". This is for the first Sino-Japanese war of 1895 - a 120 years old cup!

Condition: Excellent - the front lacquer paint is slightly faded so the color is not as red as the back
