This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with two branches - one cherry blossom and one chrysanthemum. The words are "Qing Conquest Victorious Return Commemoration". The words on the back says that this is a welcome-home party gift for the soldiers returning from the war in their victory against China in 1895, fought mostly in Korea.
