This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a beautifully done Mount Fuji, and the phrase "The Imperial Will Spreads Throughout the World" - a line that was done by Toko Fujita, a late Tokugawa scholar echoing the Chinese general/scholar Wen Tianxiang. The words on the back are "Qing Conquest Victorious Return Commemoration". Using this phrase to commemorate a victory against the Qing is ironic, to say the least.
