Antique Japanese Military 1895 Temporary Korea Dispatch Army Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a flag, a badge of the Order of Rising Sun, and some cherry blossoms. The words are "Temporary Korea Dispatch Commemoration" and on the back "60th Infantry Regiment" and the soldier's name Hashigawa. This cup refers to an early intervention from Japan - probably at the 1st Sino Japanese War of 1895.
