Antique Japanese Military 1900 Boxer Rebellion Participation Metal Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with the two characters in the center roughly translated as "Singular Sincerity". The words on the back are "Hiroshima Prefecture Shobukai Kamo Township Branch" and around the cup "Northern Qing Incident Participation Reward". This is a reference to the Boxer Rebellion, which they called the "Northern Qing Incident". The cup is made of metal - the surface was probably silver plated with a bit of tarnish and fading.
Condition: Excellent - some small blemishes here and there.
