Antique Japanese Military 1911 Divisional Marksmanship Competition Winner Lacquer Sake Cups
This is a set of 3 antique Japanese military sake cups, decorated each with a star, a cherry blossom branch, and the words "Meiji 44th Year 4th Division Honorary Marksmanship First Class Commemoration". The words on the back are "8th Infantry Regiment 4th Company" and "Gift to Ikeuchi Toyosaburo". This would've been for a soldier winning the marksmanship competition in his division. Meiji 44th Year is 1911. The three cups are identical in design aside from size.
