Antique Japanese Military 1924 Wreath Discharge Army Lacquer Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a wreath of cherry blossoms with the words "Discharge Commemoration". The soldier's name Ota is on the back in the middle, with the words on the sides saying "Taisho 13th Year (1924) March". The cup is made of lacquered wood. The gold urushi and the calligraphy are both beautifully done.
Condition: Excellent - a chip on the exterior of the base ring.
