This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a nice map of Japan with North and South America, surrounded by a chain and an anchor and cherry blossom. The map has a number of places named with a route connecting them - starting from Yokosuka, to Honolulu, to San Francisco, San Diego, through the Panama Canal, to New Orleans, Havana, New York, Boston, then on a way back as well. The words on the exterior are "Showa 2nd Year Warship Asama Long Distance Voyage Commemoration". The sailor's name Okano is in the middle ring. The cup comes with a wooden box. Asama had one of the longest careers among IJN ships serving all the way from 1899 through WW2.

Condition: Mint. The cup is not quite perfectly round.
