Antique Japanese Military 1928 Showa Enthronement Lacquer Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese lacquered sake cup, decorated with a phoenix, with a wreath that has two kiri on it. The words on the back are "Showa 3rd Year Imperial Enthronement Ceremony Merit" "Motomiya Township". This is probably a cup given to someone who helped organize enthronement celebrations in this town.
Condition: Excellent - the gold leaf has small damages
