This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a star, a wreath with cherry blossoms, and a bigger cherry blossom in the middle. The words on the back are "Manchuria/Shanghai Incident Mobilization Commemoration". This refers to the action in 1931/32 that led to the creation of the puppet state of Manchukuo.
