This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a mountain with some explosions, and some barbed wire in front. The words on the cup are "7th Infantry Shanghai Incident Victorious Return Commemoration". This refers to Japan's invasion of Shanghai in 1931 which kickstarted the events that eventually led to the creation of Manchukuo.
