This is an antique Japanese military sake bottle, decorated with a helmet, a flag, and some chrysanthemums. The words are "9th Division" "Shanghai Expedition Victorious Return Commemoration". The base of the bottle has the name of the kiln Kutani and a design trademarked stamp. The 9th Division was one of the major formations that was sent to Shanghai in the short battle there in 1932 that ended with the establishment of Manchukuo.

Condition: Mint. The bottle has some small brown dots on the glaze all over
