Antique Japanese Military 1933 Linxi Conquest Manchukuo Silver Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with the words "Commemoration" and the smaller words "Entering Linxi" and a pair of flags on top - one Japanese, one Manchukuo. Linxi is a town in the southwestern corner of what became Manchukuo - it was conquered by the Japanese in 1933 as the Chinese troops retreated. This is a rare item where it celebrates individual conquest of pieces of what became Manchukuo. The cup is made of high purity silver and comes with a wooden box. The cup weighs around 47g.
