Antique Japanese Military 1933 Military Exercise Railroad Transport Commemoration Lacquer Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated on the front with an insignia of the railroad service, and on the back in the center "Tsuruga Station". Around the edge are "Showa 8th Year Great War Games Transportation Commemoration". This is probably from people who manned the station or worked there - the war games of 1933 were held at Fukui, of which Tsuruga is a part.
