This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pair of flags that's quite stylized, one of which is the flag of Manchukuo. There's a helmet in the center and the words "Victorious Return Commemoration" "Manchurian Incident". On the back are the words "9th Showa (1934)" and "Yamagata Prefecture". This was probably given to soldiers coming back who lived in Yamagata prefecture.
