This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an interesting picture of the map of Hokkaido with a number of circles - I think those are some kind of mark for military establishments. There is also a wreath with a few different flowers, probably representative of Hokkaido. The words are "Overseen by His Imperial Majesty the Grand Field Marshal" "Army Special Wargames Commemoration". The words on the back are "Showa 11th Year (1936) 28th Infantry Regiment". The cup is made of silver although it has no marks. The cup comes with a wooden box and has some silk padding inside.

Condition: Mint - the off color is tarnish. The lid of the box is quite damaged.
