Antique Japanese Military 19th Century Nagoya Garrison Army Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a Japanese castle, clearly that of Nagoya (with the fish on top) and a pair of flags with a chrysanthemum. The words are "Nagoya Garrison HQ" "Army". This nomenclature used here is a Meiji era army organization that was later abolished, so this cup dates to the late 19th century.
