Antique Japanese Military 9th Division Sharpshooter Competition Silver Sake Cup
This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated on the front with an insignia that has the word "North" inside it. The words on the back are "9th Division Sharpshooter Encouragement Association" "Hokkoku Newspaper" - a newspaper still in existence today based in Kanazawa, where the 9th division was also based. There's a maker's mark in the center of the cup, and it weighs about 35g.
