Antique Japanese Military Anchor Flag Blossoms Navy Sake Cup Lacquer Tray
This is an antique Japanese military lacquer tray, decorated with a flag, cherry blossoms, and an anchor. The words on top are "Navy Term Fulfillment Commemoration" and the sailor's name Noseda in the shell. The words in the middle of the scroll are "Loyalty and Bravery".
Condition: Some minor cracking of the lacquer, which is fairly normal for the way these trays were constructed
