This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a wreath with the soldier's five virtues in the center on the front, with the words "Leaving the service commemoration". On the back are a bunch of embossed tank, planes, guns, and the words "5th Cavalry Regiment" and the soldier's full name Nakanishi Masao.
