This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pair of flags and a star. The words are "Discharge Commemoration" "Cavalry Private First Class" and the full name of the soldier Honma Toyosaku. Cups with soldier's full name are uncommon and it's especially so with the full rank of the person named.

Condition: Excellent - light scratches on the surface
