This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a pair of chrysanthemums and a kiri, and the words in black "Loyalty and Bravery" and in gold "China Incident Victorious Return Commemoration". The maker's mark Kutani is in the base. The exterior of the cup has a landscape, and the soldier's name Shibui is in gold.
