This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a flag, a pair of cherry blossoms, and a star. The words are "Victorious Return 38th Infantry Commemoration". The outside of the cup is one of those helmet shaped cups with a very unusual double cherry blossom. The name on the outside is Kiyomizu. The words embossed on the side of the cherry blossoms are "Glory to the Nation" and on the edge there's a mark for "copyrighted design".
