This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an embossed horse's head with a horseshoe around it, and some cherry blossoms, with the words "Commemoration".

Condition: Excellent - there's a tiny chip at the rim at 4 o'clock, painted over with what looks to be original gold paint.
