This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with an anchor, a pick, and some cherry blossoms with a collar tab in burgundy and the number 3. The words on top are "3rd Engineer Battalion" and "Term Fulfillment Commemoration" in the middle. The soldier's name Matsuoka is on the exterior. This always confused me - when engineer cups have the anchor on it I would think it's navy related, but they also seem to be agnostic and use army collar tabs colors. 

Condition: Excellent - some fading of the gold around the rim
